My design approach is deeply rooted in recognising the cultural heritage and richness of the objects around us, and to deify the lives of these everyday humble objects. My work is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the artistry and traditions of craftsmanship and modest materials.
Honest and rigorously intentional, my designs push the boundaries of their construction, challenging their original intended use with their new roles as objects. My final pieces celebrate their imperfections and wear their former use with an earnest pride.
